Coronavirus brought social inequality warns United Nations

United Nations Secretary-General (UNSC) Antonio Guterres said that the crisis for coronavirus about the inequality of our societies. He made this statement in a message released by him on April 5th marking the World Health Day. He highlighted the injustices and inequalities that happened during the coronavirus pandemic. He made some sensational comments that the vaccine doses that are administered are sent to the wealthy countries. Antonio Guterres told "Within countries, illness and death from Covid-19 has been higher among people and communities that contend with poverty, unfavorable living and working conditions, discrimination and social exclusion".

The United Nations backed the COVAX initiative to provide an equal number of vaccines for all the countries of the world. Several countries are receiving the vaccination because of the initiative. A top UN official who is not interested to be named said that the inequities are immoral and are dangerous to this healthy world. COVAX shipped more than 36 million doses of vaccine to 86 countries of the world, told Stephane Dujarric, the Chief spokesperson at the UN headquarters. Algeria received 36,000 doses from COVAX recently. The second wave of coronavirus is making the world sleepless.
