It is a completely new attempt and it looks interesting, gripping throughout. Rana essays the role of Naxalite Dr Ravi Shankar who is popularly known as Ravanna. Viraata Parvam happens in 1990s and is shot across the Indian forests.

The first glimpse is packed with surprises and Rana looks perfect in the role of a Naxalite. Sai Pallavi is the leading lady and Nandita Das, Priyamani, Nivetha Pethuraj, Naveen Chandra will be seen in other important roles. The entire shooting part of Viraata Parvam will be completed this month. SLV Cinemas in association with Suresh Productions are the producers. Viraata Parvam will have its release in 2021 and the release date will be announced soon. The post-production work of Viraata Parvam is happening at a fast pace currently.
