A 28 years old American supermodel Gigi Hadid was arrested on suspicion of importing Ganja and utensils used for the consumption of Ganja. She was alleged for possessing marijuana while vacationing in the Cayman Islands. Gigi was with her friend Leah Nicole McCarthy.Both of them transported to a prisoner detention centre after they were caught at the time of their luggage scanner.

She was caught when the border agents scanned her baggage and caught a very small amount of pots. Both Gigi Hadid and Leah were released on bail after a court fined them $ 1,000. Her spokesperson told that Gigi has legally purchased marijuana in NYC. Since 2017, the usage of Marijuana was legally permissible in Grand Cayman for medical use.
