Vivo X300 and Vivo X300 Pro Launched

Vivo X300 series was launched in China on Monday. This premium smartphone collection includes the basic Vivo X300 and the Vivo X300 Pro. Both devices are driven by MediaTek's new Dimensity 9500 SoC, and they run on Android 16 with OriginOS 6. They feature cameras developed with Zeiss technology and V3+ image processing chips. The standard version comes with a 200-megapixel Samsung HPB main camera on the back, while the Pro model includes a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-828 primary camera. On the front side, both phones have 50-megapixel cameras for selfies. The Vivo X300 and Vivo X300 Pro both have BOE Q10+ OLED 1.5K LTPO screens, though the Pro model has a bigger display. They include batteries of 6,040mAh and 6,510mAh, respectively. In China, the Vivo X300 starts at CNY 4,399 (approximately Rs. 54,700) for the 12GB + 256GB version, and the 16GB + 256GB model costs CNY 4,699 (about Rs. 58,400). The other variants, such as 12GB + 512GB, 16GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 1TB are priced at CNY 4,999 (around Rs. 62,100), CNY 5,299 (nearly Rs. 65,900), and CNY 5,799 (roughly Rs. 72,900), respectively. The phone is available in four colors: Free Blue, Comfortable Purple, Pure Black, and a shade called Lucky Colour (translated from Chinese).

On the other hand, the Vivo X300 Pro starts at CNY 5,299 (approximately Rs. 65,900) for its 12GB + 256GB version. The 16GB + 512GB and 16GB + 1TB setups are priced at CNY 5,999 (around Rs. 74,600) and CNY 6,699 (approximately Rs. 83,300), respectively. The 16GB + 1TB Satellite Communication Edition is priced at CNY 8,299 (roughly Rs. 1,03,200). This model is offered in four colors: Wilderness Brown, Simple White, Free Blue, and Pure Black. The Vivo X300 Pro features a 6.78-inch flat BOE Q10+ LTPO OLED screen with a resolution of 1.5K (2,800×1,216 pixels) and a 120Hz refresh rate along with circular polarization 2.0. It operates with a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, supported by LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. The device runs on Android 16 with OriginOS 6.

For photography, the Vivo X300 Pro boasts a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-828 main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 ultrawide lens, and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with OIS at the rear. It is also compatible with Zeiss' 2.35× telephoto teleconverter accessory. The Zeiss camera system utilizes V3+ and Vs1 imaging chips for post-processing and pre-processing, respectively. On the front, there is a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 camera for selfies.

The Vivo X300 Pro is equipped with a battery that has a capacity of 6,510mAh, supporting both 90W wired and 40W wireless charging. For safety, it includes an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor integrated into the screen. This phone also has dual speakers, the biggest x-axis linear motor found in the X-series, an Action Button, a signal booster chip, and four Wi-Fi boosters. For connectivity, it offers options like Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, GPS, and a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port. The device is rated IP68, meaning it is resistant to dust and water. Its dimensions are 161.98×75.48×7.99mm, and it weighs 226g.

The basic model, Vivo X300, shares the same processor, operating system, design, connectivity, and security features as the X300 Pro. It measures 150.57×71.92×7.95mm and weighs 190g. This version has a 6.31-inch 1.5K (2,640×1,216 pixels) flat BOE Q10+ LTPO OLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. While it has the same charging capabilities as the Pro model, it is powered by a smaller 6,040mAh battery. In terms of cameras, the Vivo X300 has the same 50-megapixel front camera as the Pro variant. On the rear, it features a 200-megapixel primary sensor from Samsung HPB with OIS support, a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 sensor with an ultrawide lens, and a 50-megapixel LYT-602 periscope telephoto camera. This camera system, supported by Zeiss, also includes a V3+ chip for post-processing images and compatibility with Zeiss’ optional 2.35× telephoto teleconverter accessory.
