Moto G96 5G was released in India on Wednesday. This phone operates with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor that has eight cores and uses 4nm tech, along with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM. It has two cameras on the back, including a primary 50-megapixel sensor, and a front-facing 32-megapixel camera that can record videos in 4K. The device is rated IP68, meaning it can handle being around dust and water. The screen works even when wet and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The Moto G96 5G has a back made of vegan leather and is available in four colors chosen by Pantone. The cost of the Moto G96 5G in India starts at Rs. 17,999 for the model with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, while the version with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage costs Rs. 19,999. It comes in Ashleigh Blue, Dresden Blue, Cattleya Orchid, and Greener Pastures color choices. Customers can purchase it in the country through Flipkart and the Motorola India website beginning on July 16.

The Moto G96 5G has a 6.67-inch full-HD+ 10-bit 3D curved pOLED screen that refreshes at 144Hz, a brightness of 1,600 nits, functionality when the screen is wet, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It uses a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC along with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and provides up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. The phone uses Hello UI based on Android 15 and should get security updates for three years. Regarding cameras, the Moto G96 5G has two rear cameras, including a primary 50-megapixel Sony Lytia 700C sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an f/1.8 aperture, along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera with autofocus, macro vision, and an f/2.2 aperture. On the front, there is a 32-megapixel sensor with fixed focus and an f/2.2 aperture. All cameras can record 4K video, and the phone also has Moto AI imaging features like AI Photo Enhancement.

The Moto G96 5G gets its power from a 5,500mAh battery and supports 33W wired TurboPower charging. It allows for connections such as dual nano SIM, 5G, 4G, Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. For security, it can unlock with facial recognition and has a fingerprint sensor built into the display. In addition, the phone has two stereo speakers that use Dolby Atmos. It has an IP68-rated design that keeps out dust and water, and it has a vegan leather covering. The phone’s size is 161.86 x 73.26 x 7.93mm and it weighs 178.10g.
