After losing badly in the first two T20s against South Africa, Team India has been clearly dominant in the third T20 that took place last night in Visakhapatnam. South Africa won the toss and elected to bowl first. Team India started off the innings on a strong note and the team scored 179 for the loss of 5 wickets in their 20 overs. Ruturaj Gaikwad (57), Ishan Kishan (54) and Hardik Pandya (31 not out) are the top scorers for the side. Dwaine Pretorious (2/29), Keshav Maharaj (1/24) and Kagiso Rabada (1/31) took the major wickets for the side.
Chasing a target of 180, South African batsmen could not make big and the team tumbled down for 131 in 19.1 overs. Heinrich Klaasen (29), Reeza Hendricks (23) and Wayne Parnell (22 not out) are the top scorers among the batsmen of South Africa. Harshal Patel (4/25), Yuzvendra Chahal (3/20) and Bhuvneshwar Kumar (1/21) bagged the wickets among the Indian bowlers. Yuzvendra Chahal has been named as the Player of the Match for his incredible bowling spell and for bagging crucial wickets. South Africa is leading the 5 match series by 2-1 and the last two matches will be held on Friday and Sunday respectively.
